Being the start of a new academic session for the full time programme, we love to meet with new students and to reconnect with the continuing ones. This we are able to achieve at designated registration points, which students are expected to visit within the period.
Week of Spiritual Emphasis
In TCNN, we believe that there should be a balance between the academics and spirituality. Thus, this week focuses on the spiritual state of the entire ecosystem, with carefully designed activities that spurs engagements with the scriptures (through chosen themes), interaction amongst us and continuous development of all in the community.

Orientation of new students
New students are given snippets information on the facilities and policies that make up our learning ecosystem. Learners are also shown the available learning platform and tools.
Public holiday
The day to mark the 65th independence day of Nigeria nationhood.
Join to pray for Nigeria on this day.
Mid-Semester break
Personnel Committee
The committee meets on issues that concerns the school’s employees.
Governing Council meeting
The TCNN Governing Council meets to consider recommendations from her committees and other top-notch issues that concerns the well-being and development of the college.

Lectures end & Convocation
Our facilitation on-site and online ends for the semester. Students who meet our graduation requirements (in all our programmes) are convocated officially.
Examination week
Both on-site and online students are assessed within this period. ALL exams will be on-site (physical)
Lecture begins
Here in TCNN, we have a culture of ensuring lecturers commence at the stipulated time for all course categories, on both the face-to-face and online modes. Thus, the need for ALL students (learners) to resume and register on time.
Master of Theology (M.Th) VIVA (External defense)
Master of Theology students of various field of specializations are examined by an visiting examiner. Theses for this exercise have gone through our internal (TCNN’s) vetting process.
Matriculation/Chat with the Provost.
Students – both on site and online – are officially matriculated into the college for the continuous learning experience for their respective programmes. The head of the college – the Provost – also chats with matriculants on this day.
TCNN Sunday
On this day, support in raised for TCNN across proprietary member churches (TEKAN) to assist in the running of the college.

As it is our culture, facilitations commence on time on both on site and our online platform.

Research day.
We encourage academic staff and students to engage in research on trending issues of concern locally and otherwise. Thus, the day is dedicated to presentations and vetting of academic research contents towards ensuring quality and authenticity.
Finance and General Purpose Committee (F&GPC)
This committee meets on issues that concern finance and other relevant matter of the institution.
Submission of examination questions to the Registry.
Our lecturers/facilitators are expected to forward a set of questions in their respective courses for final semester assessment of students.
Registry submits examination questions to the University of Jos.

Christmas and New Year break.
Second Semester (Full time) 2025/2026
Submission of examination grades to Registry.
Lecturers/facilitators turn in grades for for first semester exams on this day.

BA and BD Entrance exams/interviews
Prospective undergraduate students are tested via sets of questions that cover Bible knowledge, English and general knowledge. The exams is followed by interviews for successful candidates.
